Flower Heart Alliance is a New York–based collective of ikebana artists dedicated to sharing the radical softness and transience of ikebana with everyone, everywhere. Sogetsu in spirit, but open to every school.
We bring artists together and carry this art into public space, sharing temporary structures, overlooked materials, and the fruits of mutual inspiration.
We believe the creative power of many outweighs any single ego, and that cooperation, not competition, is where ikebana becomes transcendent. Each artist's idiosyncratic creative vision is essential: like music, where distinct voices, fully themselves, come together in something greater than the sum of its parts.
